Welcome! Thank you for joining Zenith Yoga.

I'm a certified Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga teacher with a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine looking to improve and expand my guidance. I invite you to join me for a Meditative Yin Yoga practice where we shall calm, challenge, and refresh the nervous system in a beautiful 1920s patio space overlooking Hollywood.

I hope that I can offer a safe space for anyone who is interested in dedicating time toward healing and controlling their nervous system through my yoga classes. Shift the mind and unlock and heal the connective tissues.

- I hold 2 consecutive Yin Yoga classes twice a week!

Quick summary of Yin Yoga: It is not a full relaxation style of yoga. We are restoring the connective tissues (the fascia) and joints through holding poses for longer periods of time to allow gravity to naturally realign the body. Holding each pose for 3-7 minutes challenges the mind to breathe into the discomfort and ease into the pose. No contraction of the muscles, just gravity and your body weight.

The tension in our connective tissues such as our fascia and joints cannot be released by force. It takes time and patience to open up these delicate parts of our body that are critical for mobility.

In addition, specific poses target energy channels within the body (meridians) that are associated with specific internal organs. As we use the breathe and yoga, we unblock these energy channels, allowing Qi (which is essentially our 'life force') to properly flow through the body.

Depending on the meridian(s), a buildup of energy in one area and a deficiency in another, causing a range of symptoms such as pain, digestive issues, mood disturbances, and chronic illnesses.
Let's keep those energy channels healthy. Restore the mind and body.
