What we’re about
## Welcome to our Hiking group !
Escape the city and discover the stunning landscapes of rural Britain with a community that shares your love for the outdoors.
We’re a friendly and inclusive group of nature enthusiasts brought together by a shared passion for hiking, fresh air, and great company. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or just starting out, everyone is welcome on our adventures!
About Us
Founded in April 2025, our group was created by outdoor lovers seeking a positive, inclusive, and discrimination-free hiking experience.
We are a community of passionate, experienced hikers who share a love for the outdoors, a deep connection with nature, and the joy of great company on the trails.
Our organisers dedicate a lot of personal time to scouting and testing hiking routes in advance, ensuring they are familiar with the terrain and that the paths are safe before hosting them as public events. We strive to create hiking experiences that offer something different from the usual routes others are hosting.
Our Walks
Based in London and the South East, we organise regular hikes ranging from 10 to 20 miles. Expect scenic trails, peaceful countryside, and yes, the occasional muddy field! Each hike is led by experienced hikers who volunteer their time to generously guide the group and ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
Costs
All of our hikes are completely free! If you'd like to support us, donations are always welcome. They help cover the costs of running the group and support our awesome hosts in researching and leading unforgettable adventures.

Walking is typically limited to 3-5h per day (up to 12km).
- EASY/MODERATE: mostly easy but may include longer hikes on some days with some moderate uphill or downhill elevations. Generally, the walking routes are well maintained but may involve some rougher terrain and steeper or exposed sections on certain days. Walking is on average 4-6h per day (up to 15km).

Discover a scenic and varied circular trail near Holmwood, winding through some of Surrey’s most picturesque countryside and woodland. This moderately challenging route is popular with hikers, runners, mountain bikers, and horse riders. It forms a rewarding circuit around Ranmore Common, showcasing tranquil woodlands, open heathland, and sweeping views across the North Downs.
The trail passes through Norbury Park, a landscape of ancient woodlands, chalk grasslands, and river valleys. The area is known for its biodiversity and historical significance, including ancient yew trees and archaeological discoveries.
We visit the Polesden Lacey Visitor Centre, home to an elegant Edwardian house surrounded by landscaped gardens. Facilities include a café, museum (entry fees apply), and toilets—making it an ideal spot for lunch or a short break. The house was remodelled in 1906 by socialite Margaret Greville, Polesden Lacey was later gifted to the National Trust. In the 1920s–30s, it hosted royalty including King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, with hilltop views over the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
