What we’re about

## Welcome to our Hiking group !

Escape the city and discover the stunning landscapes of rural Britain with a community that shares your love for the outdoors.

We’re a friendly and inclusive group of nature enthusiasts brought together by a shared passion for hiking, fresh air, and great company. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or just starting out, everyone is welcome on our adventures!

About Us
Founded in April 2025, our group was created by outdoor lovers seeking a positive, inclusive, and discrimination-free hiking experience.

Our Walks
Based in London and the South East, we organise regular hikes ranging from 10 to 20 miles. Expect scenic trails, peaceful countryside, and yes — the occasional muddy field!
Each hike is led by experienced hikers who volunteer their time to generously guide the group and ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.

Costs
All of our hikes are completely free! If you'd like to support us, donations are always welcome. They help cover the costs of running the group and support our awesome hosts in researching and leading unforgettable adventures.

What to Expect on a Hike
If you’re new to group hiking or joining us for the first time, here’s what you can typically expect:

  • A friendly welcome and brief introduction at the starting point
  • Group pacing with breaks for photos, snacks, and rest
  • Opportunities to chat, share stories, and connect with others
  • A return to the start point or a designated finish, often near a pub or café!

Who Can Join?

  • Events are open to adults aged 21 and over.
  • Sorry, no children or pets on hosted events.

Fitness & Readiness
Our hikes vary in difficulty but generally require a moderate level of fitness. Please read the event details carefully and be honest about your ability. If you’re unsure, feel free to message the host, we’re here to help!

Getting There
Most hikes are accessible by public transport (trains, buses), and we encourage sustainable travel whenever possible. Event pages include meeting points and travel details.

  • Please ensure your RSVP is accurate and up to date. Don’t be inconsiderate, if you're unsure whether you'll attend, leave the spot open for someone else who can commit.
