πŸ“ˆ GRADE πŸ₯ΎπŸ₯ΎπŸ₯ΎπŸ₯Ύ Level 4/5 (Steep ascents and descents, moderate to challenging)

A challenging and rewarding circular hike from Reigate through the North Downs, taking in Box Hill, the River Mole stepping stones, and the village of Brockham. Expect a full day of steady walking across varied terrain, including woodland, open countryside, and chalk hills, with great views throughout.

From Reigate, we head straight into classic North Downs scenery, climbing steadily to the summit of Box Hill where we stop for lunch and enjoy sweeping views. After descending the grassy chalk slopes, we cross the famous stepping stones over the River Mole and continue through Brockham.

The route then winds back towards Reigate along farmland trails, woodland paths, quiet lanes, and across Reigate Heath, finishing by the railway station with an optional pub stop next door. Ideal for those who enjoy varied landscapes, a touch of adventure, and a friendly group atmosphere.
