The organiser will pre-purchase Southern DaySave group tickets a few days before the event.

Each ticket costs £52 for four people, making it £13 per person. Payment must be made in advance.

The ticket provides unlimited travel on the Southern Railway network on Saturday, 3 October 2026. All four passengers must travel together, sit together where possible, and pass through the barriers together.

You may join the group en route, for example at Clapham Junction or East Croydon, but you must have your own valid ticket to pass through the barriers.

The organiser will try to arrange groups of four based on attendees’ travel plans. The tickets will be distributed at the end of the hike, allowing people to travel home together or stay a little longer at the pub.

Note: This group-ticket option is only suitable if you plan to walk with the main group. If you intend to hike independently, leave the group, or fall significantly behind, this may not be a suitable option for you.

If a group cannot be formed before the tickets are purchased, payments will be refunded.

Once the tickets have been purchased, payments are non-refundable unless someone else takes your place and pays for the ticket.

Tickets will be allocated on a first-paid, first-served basis. Anyone who signs up but does not pay within a few hours may be removed to make space for others.
