### Key Points Summary: “Abiding To Use His Name”
1. **Jesus’ Name Is Above Every Name**
- Because of the cross, God exalted Jesus and gave Him the name above all names (Philippians 2:8–11).
- Future: every knee will bow; present: believers have delegated authority to use that Name.
2. **Power & Authority in His Name Is Delegated to Believers**
- Jesus has given us the right to pray, command, bind, and loose in His Name for the advancement of His Church.
3. **The Essential Condition: ABIDE**
- “Abide” = remain in, rely on, draw from, moment-by-moment dependence on Christ (John 15:4–5).
- Apart from abiding in Him, we can do nothing of spiritual value, even if we say “in Jesus’ name.”
4. **Core Meaning of Abide**
- Both a fact (we are in Christ) and an action (continually drawing from the Vine).
- The branch bears fruit only by receiving life, revelation, power, and authority from the Vine.
5. **Three Realities That Flow Only Through Abiding**
1. **Prayer in His Name**
- Effective prayer = asking according to God’s revealed will (1 John 5:14–15; John 15:7, 16).
- When we abide, His words abide in us → we pray His will → it is done.
2. **Power & Authority in His Name**
- Casting out demons, healing the sick, miraculous protection (Mark 16:17–18).
- These signs follow those who believe and abide, not those who act from self-effort.
3. **Binding & Loosing in His Name**
- Keys of the kingdom (Matthew 16:19; 18:18–20).
- We bind/loose on earth what has already been bound/loosed in heaven → revealed only to those who abide.
- Corporate agreement (2 or more) is especially powerful when the Spirit reveals the same thing.
6. **The Key to Everything**
- Revelation of God’s will comes only through abiding.
- Without abiding → natural/fleshly efforts fail, even if the words “in Jesus’ name” are spoken.
- With abiding → Christ’s life, power, and authority flow through us → fruit remains.
7. **Main Takeaway**
Abide in the Vine → revelation of His will → pray, command, bind/loose in His Name → His power is released, His kingdom advances, and fruit remains.
In short: “Abiding To Use His Name” = No abiding → no power. Constant abiding → full access to the authority and power in the Name of Jesus.
