CANASTA

Not an actual Meetup, although we are all members of this Meetup group.
No membership fee.

We are looking for 1 or 2 new members to join our existing Canasta group. We meet every Friday at a Panera in the Freehold area for a bite to eat at 11:30 and then start playing around noon. We play friendly, low key games for fun and socializing. You must be able to play nice and not be critical to others. We come here to enjoy the game and the company.

ALL WELCOME. No experience needed, we can teach the game to you. Experienced players are certainly also welcome. We have certain house rules that may be different from what you already know but not that different.

You must be able to commit to MOST Fridays. Games consist of 4 players, but we can play with 6 by alternating. And if we should end up with 8, we can just have 2 games going at the same time.
