Enhance your public speaking skills. Speaking regularly in front of an encouraging and helpful audience is an almost surefire way to improve your public speaking. You can learn some technique from books, but there is nothing better than getting up in front of an audience.
Improve your everyday communication skills and overall self-confidence. While Toastmasters is primarily focused on public speaking in front of an audience, the skills that you learn will often spill over into your one-on-one speaking style.
