Freemasons are people (men, women and all humanity) who seek knowledge of themselves and the world around them, through the study of and participation in symbolic ritual. Freemasons work through self-understanding and improvement, gained through Masonic ceremony, to achieve harmony with the wider world and thereby to benefit humanity.
