April's topic will be conducted by Bro. Benjamin Hartle in a study of Freemasonry discusses the question: "Is the Holy Grail Relevant to the Modern Seeker?"

Synopsis:
From the early medieval period of King Arthur and his knights to the modern era of Indiana Jones, tales of the Holy Grail have remained an enigmatic focal point of Western culture. Whether a lost treasure, the cup of Christ, or even a secret bloodline, do these tales bear any significance to a spiritual seeker? What is represented by the lost Chalice that features in the tales of Parzival, King Arthur, and Sir Galahad? What can truly be gained by questing after the Cup of Christ? What is the connection between the Grail Quest and the allegorical quest undertaken in Freemasonry? In this presentation, we will attempt to unpack the symbolism and spiritual significance of the Holy Grail and its relation to Freemasonry.

Mission Statement:
The Masonic Philosophical Society embraces the concept of learning, not for school, but for life, and believes that all men, who seek it, deserve access to continued education. We further embrace the concept of a community environment, where ideas can be shared and debated in an open forum. From the seven liberal arts to the arcane, we seek to gain and share the knowledge that is the legacy of mankind.
