Free Thinkers: Exploring The Big Questions

Join us for a welcoming, judgment-free discussion where people from all backgrounds and beliefs come together to explore life's biggest questions through respectful conversation.
This month's meetup will be held on Thursday due to room availability. Going forward, our regular schedule will be the last Tuesday of each month.
At the beginning of each month, members vote on the next discussion topic. Once you join the group, you'll have the opportunity to cast your vote and help shape future conversations. The winning topic is announced on the 20th of each month.

At the moment, Free Will and Artificial Intelligence are leading the vote.
Once the winning topic is selected, we'll explore it through five thought-provoking questions. We'll go around the room, giving everyone the opportunity to share their perspective or simply say, "I'll pass." Respectful follow-up questions are encouraged to better understand one another's thinking—not to debate or criticize.
Our poll ended in a tie between Artificial Intelligence and Free Will, so we will discuss both topics at this event.
We will go through two questions for each topic:

If Al could perfectly copy your thoughts, memories, and personality, would it still be you or only a copy?
Free Will

If every choice you make is influenced by your past experiences, personality, and circumstances, can that choice still be considered free?

What has influenced who you are most: your choices, biology, or environment?
