Although some people already think Freethinkers are a little different, we treasure our brains and our abilities to use reasonable levels of critical thinking! We want to know when and if these skills are in danger. What can we do to slow the brain aging process and how can we help those we care about when we see them declining?

Dr. Julie Horwitz is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified neuropsychologist, and Director of the UCCS Aging Center. She specializes in dementia and aging, overseeing geropsychology training and providing care to older adults and their families. She completed her Ph.D. at the University at Albany and advanced clinical training through the VA system.
