Our group of 5 to 15 talkers uses a conversation model. This is NOT a "talking head" session. Everyone is encouraged to join in, share their opinions or ship the conversation in another direction. We try not to focus too much on psychotic politicizans, instead focusing on cultural, scientific and personal growth areas. But really, most topics are fair game if someone wants to bring it up.
We use Zoom's "raised hand" to request a clear chance to change the topic or make a comment, We also encouraging jumping into a void in someone else's rant if you can do it gracefully. We are mostly Freethinkers, some atheists and one or two soft chrisitans or "other".
We have been doing these zoom sessions since covid shut down our coffee shop talks in 2020. We have discussed moving back to a coffee shop , but the convenience of casual dress, one's own beverage supply, and the occasional visitor from other countries has kept us "on line".. Leave your camera off and just list if you like. And jump in when you must.
