Freethinkers PotLuck Social Sat. Jan 10, 5 pm. * Cancelled **
Details
The Freethinkers Directors have decided that we should cancel this event due to bad snow conditions on the last 2 streets on the approach to the house. Athletic people capable walking in 8 inches of snow and driving cars with snow tires might still attend. And probably a bunch of folks who don't get this update....
It’s Potluck Time! Saturday January 10 5:00 pm At Wayne’s World (home)
Bring a dish to share (salad, main, casserole, vegetables or dessert) Make it yourself or stop by the grocery, we don’t judge!
If you drink beer or wine, bring it along to share! Water and Tea will be provided.
Wayne is a great host, he specializes in that warm Southern Hospitality. Do check out his basement and the fantastic woodwork projects he toils over down there. Don't worry about the sawdust, but keep your fingers out of paint. Come prepared to join in fun conversations, laughter and community. All nice people are welcome. Bring a friend or two. Your only cost is the food you bring to share.
Wayne’s World is located at 2675 Saint Joseph Way, go west on Centennial Blvd past Austin Bluffs, or approach from Woodman Road. Easy parking .!! Big modern house with giant rooms. These events usually draw 30 to 40 people. Don't be surprise by the few RSVP here. But we do like to see them.. Particularly from First Timers..!!
Looking ahead: February 14 2026 5:00 PM Social Hosted by Marianne!
At the Chinook Center Support your community:
----------------------------------------------
Who wants to host a social? Your house or the Chinook Center? Without you there will not be a social in March. If you have ever thought you could host or help host March is your month!
If your house is too small you can host it at the Chinook Center!
Please contact Becky at 719-332-3907 to host March or reserve a month anytime during the rest of the year. It is easy, fun and you won't need to carry that NPR guilt (what is the NPR guilt you ask? - You know those fund drives where they make you feel bad for listening and not helping to support the programming ... .thats NPR guilt!) And hosting is Free! We will walk you through it .
