Ethics and Dignity AWOL?: A Discussion on Nationalism and Leadership in Today’s Military
A panel discussion featuring several Military and Civil leaders on the subject of Leadership and Ethics. It is being hosted by "Principles over Party", and UCCS's "Center for the Study of Evangelicalism".
This discussion will be led by a panel of distinguished guests:
Billie Baber , 26-year veteran of the AF and Space Force, retired Command Chief Master Sergeant (E-9). Currently serves as the Program Director for the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project to assist veterans in negotiating legal barriers that impact housing stability, income, and well-being.
Russ Carparelli , Principles over Party executive team member. During his military career, served as an AF Judge Advocate (Chief of Civilian Personnel and Labor Litigation; Special Litigation Counsel to the AF Secretary and General Staff). His civilian career after retirement included private practice and serving as a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Tome Walters , AF Lieutenant General (ret.), served as Director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. A pilot with over 3,500 hours, commanded an air refueling squadron, a pilot training operations group and an air refueling wing.
Jennifer Kling , Chair of the Department of Philosophy, UCCS, and Director of the Center for Legal Studies, will moderate the panel and discussion.
