Getting Ready for Bat Cruise Weekend! 🧹📚🦇
Get ready to make our beloved FreeThought Library sparkle and shine just in time for the legendary Bat Cruise Weekend (happening August 16th, 2025)! Join us as we get the library looking its best before this important community event. Whether you're one of our regulars or just looking to give back to the community, we welcome your helping hands!

When: Saturday, August 9th, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (drop in whenever you can!)
Where: The FreeThought Library, of course!

What to Expect:
We'll be tackling a variety of tasks including:

• Dusting shelves, furniture, and electronics
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and carpets
• Light landscaping and outdoor cleanup (weather permitting)
• General sprucing up and making the library look its best!

Event Details:

• What to Bring: Just yourself, clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty, and a fang-tastic attitude! :D

Cleaning supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have equipment you prefer.

• Refreshments: Light snacks, drinks, and coffee will be provided.
• Pets: No pets allowed! While we always love to welcome everyone's furry friends, with so many moving parts and people going in and out of the building, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
