Algonquin backcountry paddle & camp - dates firm

Details
If you have had Algonquin on your bucket list, grab this opportunity to go!
Dates are now firm If you cannot be away from home and work from 8/28 4pm to 9/3 7pm, please do not rsvp.
Bee Bob/Birding Bob is figuring out the details for us - he has been there many times.
We will break up the 7-1/2 hour trip north with a stopover at Niagara Falls, (hotel or Airbnb).
Included in the trip will be paddling to two backcountry campsites for two night each. We will reserve a developed campsite for 9/2-9/3 so we all can get showers before driving home. You may choose to drive home on 9/2 all stinky hahahaa or stay overnight and drive home 9/3.
Canoes are better than kayaks for this trip, and can be rented. They now have lighter weight kevlar canoes, which makes portaging easier, (about 55 pounds for two people to carry plus gear).
We reserve the right to vet attendees as to physical ability for the trip. (Hey, if I can do it, you probably can). Bob thinks of this as a beginner trip.
Cost for the backcountry sites for a total of 4 nights is $62.72 per person Additional costs will be incurred for canoe rental, Niagara Falls lodging, the developed campsite and food.
Many more details are yet to come. We will have a zoom planning call at some point to discuss more details.
