Via Feratta 2025 - firm dates

You can book a lodge room on your own and get a discount by saying you are with me Rooms are $80/night - see room desciption below. You can also do primitive camping for about $10 or so. Please let me know if want to camp; we have the group site reserved and if no one is going to use it, I want to release it.

This is tentative, to see if there is interest. I do this trip every year ... the Via Feratta at NROCKS in Circleville, WV, (near Seneca Rocks, about 6 hours from Cleveland).

You can stay in the lodge or camp. I'm checking availability and group pricing now. Lodge rooms have a bunk bed (upper and lower twin beds), a double bed, a full bathroom, small refrigerator and microwave oven, plus heat and AC. The cost of the climb is around $150 and the lodge room is about $90/night.

We will arrive Friday evening and hang out around a campfire. Saturday we will do the climb at 11am, until about 3pm. Saturday night, we can drive up to the top of Spruce Knob, the highest point in West Virginia, to see the sunset.

Sunday, we can do an area hike, or participate in another activity at NROCKS such as the Top Rope Climb or ziplining.

You do not have to have rock climbing experience for the Via Ferrata, but if you have a strong fear of heights, do not participate in this climb. (You can still come along and enjoy the area and other activities).

More information to come - just assessing interest now. I do the climb every year just to make sure I can still do it!
