Snowbirds high level plan

This is what I’m thinking … I will lay out separate events but just so you can mark your calendars and watch for details - this is very high level.

2/13-2/16 President’s Day biking near Orlando. There are several trails There should be reasonably priced flights. Bike rental is available. Lodging would be on your own, but I’ll look for a campground. I’ve already got the bike rental kinda figured out for those flying There are lots of trails so we can figure it out together.

2/20-2/23 Key West, taking the jet express from Ft. Myers Beach. You should be able to get a reasonably priced flight and do not need a car. AirBnB’s are pricey but not out of the question for me. I am also looking at camping. Uber is everywhere so even with camping, no car needed. This would be a party weekend with probably some sort of touristy events and I hope at least a day at the Dry Tortugas. Watch for details soon.

2/26-3/1 Everglades City, paddling.

All of this will be “do what you like” style, like I’ve done with Georgia and West Virginia. I just wanted to lay out some high level plans so you can mark your calendars.
Consider coming to bike and sliding on in to the Key West weekend. Or think about Key West and just driving four hours over to the Everglades.

As usual, I’ll be focused on outdoor recreation and cheap lodging, but you can do what you want to do. Share your thoughts, please! so
