Central Florida Biking - stop 1 on the Snowbirds 2026 train

I am planning to get an AirBnb with additional bedrooms. RSVP NOW if you want me to consider you while looking for an AirBnB. If you are flying into Orlando, I will pick you up at the airport Thursday night or Friday morning - we need to coordinate flights. You will not need a car and can rent a bike there (see below).
Winter Garden is a cute, walkable, bikeable town, so you don't need to rent a car. I have the bike rental all figured out, so you can just pack a carry on bag and come on down. Cross your fingers for cheap flights!

Come bike near Orlando! This is the first leg of the Snowbirds 2026 trip.

Hopefully there will be some cheap flights to and from Orlando, or maybe you will already be in the area. We will have to see who wants to go and figure out a lot of the details from there. This is President's Day weekend, so maybe that makes it easier for you to attend.

This company will rent comfort bikes for $45/day and deliver them and pick them up each day for $125 for our entire group.

The biking plan is:
Saturday - West Orange Trail from their shop and back, 44 miles round trip, near Winter Garden, FL.

Sunday - South Lake Trail from their shop and back, 28 hilly miles or get picked up after 14 miles in downtown Clermont.

It would be great if we could all lodge near the bike shop, and only need an uber from the airport if flying in for the event.
