LaDue kayaking before Corn Maze (no rentals in Oct)

Let's pre-game the Corn Maze, paddler style!

Since we are doing the Derthick's Corn Maze in the afternoon, why not add on a paddle at very nearby LaDue Reservoir for late morning?
It is too late in the season for rentals.

I'm thinking of being on the water by 10:30am, getting off the water by 1:00pm. That allows an hour to get our boats on our cars and change clothes, if need be, and getting to Derthick's.

I don't know anything about kayaking at LaDue, so please share your insights in the comments and we can figure it out together.
