Update on 7/13 regarding Saturday specific plans:
We will carpool and park in downtown Fayetteville and take the shuttle to the south side of the bridge. The shuttle costs $5 cash each way. Let us plan to leave the campground at 8:30am to maximize our time at Bridge Day, which goes from 9am-3pm.

Those planning to do the Bridge Day Bridge Walk should sign up for the 12:30 timeslot here: https://bridgewalk.com/
Sign your waiver right away so you don't forget; if it is not signed digitally ahead of time, you cannot do the walk and you do not get a refund!

For the walk, we will walk over the bridge to the north side, to the Bridge Walk check-in tent. We need to be there at 12:15. After the walk, about 1:45, we will connect back up with those not doing the walk.

At the end of the Bridge Day activities, at 3:00, we will take a shuttle back to downtown Fayetteville. We can agree on whether we want to leave earlier.

In downtown Fayetteville starting at 3:00, there is a chili cook-off.

We will make our way back to Ace Adventures, where there is a Bridge Day after party starting at 4pm. This party is free and features three bands each playing for 2 hours starting at 6. I had seen information about there also being a pig roast for $30, but I am not seeing that now - I will inquire.

After all of that hoopla, we will make our way back to our tents and campers to get to bed early.

On Sunday, we will want to get up early to do a hike in New River Gorge, and then drive 38 miles to Babcock State Park, one of the most photographed fall locations in the country.

Please comment when you have purchased a Bridge Walk ticket. When the date gets closer, be sure to read the rules about Bridge Day https://officialbridgeday.com/bridge-day-info

Let's visit the USA's newest national park!

The bridge at New River Gorge is open to pedestrians just one day a year, and that day is appropriately called "Bridge Day." It's an exciting event where people parachute off the bridge.

We will be staying at Ace Adventures Resort. I have 9 RV campsites reserved which I will hold until September 1st. These are pull-through RV sites with electric, water and sewer hookup, which allow 2 tents or one RV each. The cost of these is $138.00. These will be allotted to attendees on a first-come, first serve basis; please text me if you want one at 216-973-3851.
Payment of $138 after confirmation from me should be made to me via PayPal; be sure to mark it as friends & family. I will release the sites if payment is not received by May 15th.
If you are rsvping after we've got these sites allotted, I suggest you make a reservation for a Woodpecker Alley cabin, and you will be right with the rest of the group.

Campsite #s are in our group text.

Ace Adventures also has tent sites, cabins and lodges. If you are not in one of these spots, please reserve your lodging here: https://www.adventuresonthegorge.com/whitewater-rafting?nck8445339053&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21209882110&gbraid=0AAAAADmEoHu5-jU0Vmt1BLcpX3gCdXt0p&gclid=CjwKCAjw7vzOBhBxEiwAc7WNr4vXYBtu1Eok0cBjRYgHHu1ZqPZkn5OOh_2Taoca4wZZdnydLnZ9mBoCl3YQAvD_BwE
Comment what spot you have reserved.

As long as you choose to stay within Ace Adventures Resort, we will all connect and enjoy activities together.
