Brad has designed this hop-on hop-off multi-sport trip in PA for Labor Day Weekend! This trip is designed for campers sleeping in cars, tents, vans or trailers but mostly without electricity or hookups. In addition to camping, this trip includes biking, kayaking, hiking and star gazing! Hop onto any segments you like.

ITINERARY
Wednesday Sept 2: Drive to World's End State Park campground; set up camp. Campground has showers and running water. We will be in non-electric campsites.
Thursday Sept 3: Hike Ricketts Glen (35 minute drive from World's End). This is a 7-mile loop with 21 waterfalls, the tallest being 94' high.

Friday Sept 4: Hike World's End State Park: over 20 miles of rugged, scenic trails to explore, with canyon views, rock formations, streams and waterfalls.

Saturday Sept 5: Morning - break camp and more hiking at World's End or nearby Loyalsock.
Afternoon - drive to Leonard Harrison State Park (1 hour, 35 minute drive).
Short hike if time allows. Set up camp.
Campground has showers and running water, we will be in non-electric campsites.
Sunday Sept 6: Bike the Pine Creek Rail Trail one way with a shuttle back, (outfitter provided). Distances available are 19, 28, 44 and 58 mile options.

Monday Sept 7: Break camp.
Morning -Kayak or raft Pine Creek (multiple distances, guided or unguided, probably about 3-4 hours. We will rent boats. Trip is dependent upon water levels. Hiking is also available if water doesn't allow kayaking/rafting.
Afternoon - Drive to Cherry Springs State Park (35 minutes). Set up camp.
Night – Dark sky viewing; no lights allowed after 9pm. Cherry Springs offers some of the darkest night skies east of the Mississippi and the moon phase will be just right tonight for prime viewing.
Tuesday Sept 8: Pack up and drive home. Kinzua Bridge State Park is on the way back to Ohio and is worth a stop for anyone who hasn't seen the twisted, collapsed RR bridge partially destroyed by a tornado and now turned into a pedestrian walkway.
For anyone who doesn't mind adding 10 minutes of driving to their trip home, I'm adding a stop in Leesburg Falls PA to do a short hike along a gorgeous little stream and have a beer at Cobblehaus Brewing at the base of a gorgeous waterfall.
