We'll do a hike of the inland routes this year. Should be beautiful with Spring.
Planned route will take us anywhere from 1.5-2 hours, so plan to finish up @ 10:30-11:00 am for an early lunch at one of the picnic tables near the Visitor's Center.
Make it a potluck. Everyone bring an item with them.
There is paid parking at the Visitor's Center and there's also free parking along Commerce Drive before the road into the park.
