**Update for anyone who wasn’t at the last meeting- we’re going to split the Will of the Many into two discussions! The book is officially split into 3 parts and from what I understand without spoiling things for myself, it makes the most sense to read part 1 first, and then parts 2 & 3 together. So for this first meeting we will discuss part 1, which is chapters 1-24. Parts 2 and 3 will be discussed in April. Happy reading!

This month we’ll discuss The Will of the Many by James Islington!

Trying out a new timing format this month with a more casual/ flexible start time. I booked the meeting room for a full 2 hours- we can settle in and socialize for the first half hour, and book discussion will start at 1:30.

“The Will of the Many, by James Islington, is an epic fantasy novel about an orphan named Vis who is sent to the elite Catenan Academy. The Academy trains the empire's elite, but Vis is secretly there to investigate the Academy's leader and uncover secrets that could tear the Republic apart. Vis works in the prisons during the day, where prisoners are drained of their "Will" to power the wealthy. At night, he fights illegally to escape his abusive orphanage”
