Announcing a new Meetup for Ann Arbor French Conversation Group!

I know this is a few weeks away?but just to put into your mind:

Le 14 juillet ARRIVE!!!! Et il faut faire la fete!!

There are two options for fellow French/Francophone/French-wanna-be party people:

Please take a look at both and decidez-vous which you want to attend. If there are dates for RSVP, please pay attention to those!

I will be attending Option #1 so for those of you who want to join me - je vous invite! Option 2 is a great option for those of you who want to celebrate but stay closer to Ann Arbor.

OPTION ONE:

BASTILLE DAY

Let's celebrate together la f?te du 14 juillet sur un petit air de Bal Musette au bord du lac St Clair. Petanque, chansons et fun?
- 6:15 PM Ap?ritif

- 7:00 PM La Marseillaise sung by Patricia Stewart and all the guests

Followed by

- a buffet catered by Simply Delicious

- a surprise dessert by Le Normandie

The event costs $28.00 per person but it is for a full evening of food and fun! If you are interested in attending this event you MUST RSVP to me (Julia) by July 3rd. I will be making a reservation for all who want to go on July 5th and they accept NO late reservations. So please be on time! For those of you that do want to go, we will work out a car-pool to and from the event for those interested.

OPTION TWO:

If you are wanting to stay a bit closer to Ann Arbor for some fun - go here!

On July 14th there is a band playing called Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys. They are a cajun music band from Louisiana and they sing French songs. This is a FREE concert taking place near the Ingalls Mall near campus. While they may not be singing Les Marseilles, the songs are French and from what I have been told - they are a good group to check out! The concert starts at 7:30pm!
