French Discussion Improvers Course - in Edinburgh (8 weeks)

Details
In this group, we welcome students who can communicate more and more in French and are starting to engage in French conversations (with mistakes). Students should already be familiar with fundamental tenses such as the présent (je mange), passé composé (j’ai mangé), imparfait (je mangeais) and futur (je vais manger/je mangerai). At this level, students often still make mistakes, and their vocabulary is not yet very advanced very they are not afraid to speak.
This class is mostly discussion-oriented but still has a structure to give you more vocabulary and French expressions. I aim to immerse you for an hour in France and to teach you the way French people speak.
🧑🏫 The class will be conducted by Szymon, from Nantes in France, a really experienced native French teacher.
📆 Calendar: IN-PERSON: From the 1st of April, you’ll have an hour class every Tuesday at 7:15 pm for 8 weeks until the 27th of May (and one week off on the 15th of April). If you miss a class, you’ll still get the material and some explanations from me so then no excuse to keep practising your French every week!
🗣You'll be learning from a native French Speaker, so you’ll experience how French is truly spoken—not from an app or a textbook!
The class is open for only 6 students to keep the class small and cosy, but mostly unsure everyone can practice and ask questions.
We'll meet in the famous French cosy café La Barantine in Stockbridge after it’s closed, which makes it feel more like hanging out than a formal lesson - indeed don't expect a "rigid" approach such as formal institutions.
Students who come are super friendly and motivated—not just to learn French, but to enjoy some time with interesting and nice people. So my classes are all about learning and having a good time together.
Every class includes homework and different types of exercises to help you keep a good routine outside of the class. You'll get all the materials on a printed and online version, before/after each class, meaning you don't need to buy a book.
📌 Location: We’ll meet in La Barantine Stockbridge - 27B Raeburn Pl, Edinburgh EH4 1HU
You need to book your spot by sending me an email at louise@bonjour-frenchclasses.com!
A bientôt,
Louise
