🪑 The counterfeiters of Versailles: Who got scammed? - Even the greatest experts can be wrong... or fool others! In Versailles, two highly talented craftsmen crafted fake Louis XV chairs for several years. They looked so real that they were sold at the palace as antiques. No one noticed! This incredible affair shocked the world of antique dealers, and surely also the visitors to Versailles. Everyone believed this perfect illusion.
