🎥 Curious about the stories and the artists that shaped the French New Wave? ✨ - About 60 years ago, the New Wave movement brought a dramatic schism in French cinema, breaking every academic rule that was possible. As Jean-Luc Godard said: "Cinema is not a reproduction of reality, it is a forgetting of reality." This week, let's dive into the movement and some of the most gorgeous films it brought to us.

#### Preparation:

• watch this week's episode about the Nouvelle Vague: https://youtu.be/_wNBkj46Tg4 (subtitles are available in French and English by clicking on the CC button on the Youtube control bar).
• (optional) watch any movie from the Nouvelle Vague movement (i.e.: Les 400 Coups)
• prepare one or two questions

• Get to the meat of the discussion (30 minutes)
• French film/music/book suggestions and voilà (10 minutes)
