LEVEL: ADVANCED - C1 — 1pm PT / 4pm ET

📖 Why are French and English so similar? 🇫🇷🇬🇧 - It all began a thousand years ago, in 1066, with William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy. Dissatisfied with the succession to the English throne, he invaded the country and imposed French as the language of the nobility, administration, and culture. As a result, thousands of French words were incorporated into English, shaping the language we know today.
