🎺 Wait, there’s a story behind Cinco de Mayo? 🍸🪅 - May 5, 1862, the French troops arrive in Puebla, Mexico, full of confidence and determination to defeat the Mexican army. Boasting superior training and numbers, they should soon control the region and, ultimately, the entire nation. But… there is a but. The Mexican soldiers know the terrain intimately, and for nothing in the world would they abandon their homeland. In just three hours, they courageously repelled the invaders, leaving the French with a taste of defeat that they would find hard to swallow…
