What we’re about
Our book club meets on Zoom, hence we welcome readers from outside the Washington, DC region. The focus is on the beautiful literature & culture of France. All Francophiles are welcome who wish to delve into French literature. We are a bilingual group. I'll select books that are available in both the original French & in readily available English. All levels of French are welcome--or none--you all just need to love France! Spoken French will also be translated into English--we're really bilingual! As Georges Bernanos loved to say, "La France-c'est une idée nécessaire pour la civilisation!" That's the motto of our club!
