[online] FLE Book Club

Our FLE Book Club meets every month (except in July and December), on the last Thursday of the month, and on the Friday following the last Thursday. The 2 meetings are the same. You will choose one. They start at 6.30pm on Zoom (you will be able to see the link on Meet Up once you are on the list).

Our very own book club is dedicated to Non Native French Speakers who want to take advantage of this experience to refine their French skills. Members must have at least an Intermediate level in French.

The whole session will be in French!

We talk about a book that participants read before the session. We read short books in French (around 100 pages), books written by French speaking writers.

THE TITLE OF THE BOOK IS ANNOUNCED - at least - A MONTH IN ADVANCE ON A POST IN THE EVENT.

Along the session, we will talk about the writer, plot, story, characters, topics on one hand and about comprehension of the text, phrasing and vocabulary on the other hand.

We may read some passages during sessions as well. And of course, we will share our impressions and find out more about the themes.
