If you are interested in reading a modern play in French (online event), this event is for you. We will read another play written by Yasmina Reza, "Le dieu du carnage".
It is a comedy about two sets of parents; the son of one couple has hurt the son of the other couple at a public park. The parents meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish and the meeting devolves into chaos.
We will dedicate 2 sessions of 90 minutes to go through the play, reading the text and reacting about it (participants may have to read a bit on their own too according to our reading pace...).
At the begnining of the first session, the tutor will introduce the play and the playrwright.
Then, we'll spend the sessions reading (most of) the play loudly together within a small group (4 participants maximum in a group). The tutor will advise about pronunciation and help to get the meaning.
We will be reading the play on 2 Thursdays, October 8th & 15th from 10.15am to 11.45 am. Be aware that sessions will be online sessions (using Zoom)

The event will be only held with a full team (4 people).
We may arrange several groups if we have more than 4 candidates.
This event is open to any French speakers with at least an Intermediate level. If any doubt, talk / write to the organiser.
Pricing :
£55 for the 2 sessions. Payment has to be done by Bank transfer once the series is confirmed by the tutor (on a first come, first serve basis). If you are new to French London Experience, please send an email to frenchlondonexperience at gmail dot com
