AI-Assisted Data Science with Google Colab

Join us for a hands-on session introducing a practical workflow for AI-assisted data science with Google Colab. We will begin with a brief review of data preparation and the overall data science process. From there, we will walk through a simple project in a Jupyter notebook, exploring and preparing a dataset before training a machine learning model for prediction.

After completing the project in the traditional notebook setting, we will use Google Colab’s AI features to reproduce the same workflow through guided prompting and AI-assisted coding. Participants will see how Colab can help generate, explain, and revise code for tasks such as inspecting data, performing exploratory data analysis, cleaning and preparing features, and building a basic predictive model.

This session is designed to help learners use AI as a support tool rather than a substitute for understanding. Attendees will complete a hands-on exercise that follows the data science process step by step while using Colab’s AI features as a helper for coding, iteration, and debugging.
