Friday After Hours is a live weekly business conversation from Flow Space in North Beach.

It is built around a simple idea: some of the most useful business conversations happen after the formal part of the day is over.

When people stop pitching, stop performing, and start talking properly.

Each Friday, we bring together business owners and founders at different stages of the journey. Some have been in the trenches for years. Some are building something now. Some have made mistakes, changed direction, had wins, taken hits and are still figuring things out.

Each week starts with a different theme, but the aim stays the same: honest conversation between people who are actually doing the work.

We’ll talk about the things that rarely make it into the polished version of a business story. Growth, pressure, hiring, cash flow, clients, uncertainty, technology, AI, burnout, difficult decisions, unexpected wins and the things that keep business owners awake at night.

Every conversation also starts with one question:

Because sometimes what happened in someone else’s week is exactly the thing another business owner needs to hear.

There are no slides and no formal presentations, raw and unedited.

It is a conversation.

Guests will change each week, and so will the topic. We want experienced business owners sitting alongside people who are still finding their feet, sharing what they have learned and what they are still working through.

The audience is part of it too.
