Topics usually start out web/tech/biz related, but often quickly divert into a casual chat on just about everything, it's Friday after all!

Bart usually wears something that is easy to spot in a crowd. Often it's a bright orange coloured t-shirt. Have a look at past photos of meetups to recognise him. Moreover, we usually stand close to the bar.

👉 Venue:

The Beer Bay is an outdoor kiosk/bar, situated at the walkway between the Central Ferry Piers, at the ground level entrance of Pier #3 (to Discovery Bay). There's plenty of space to stand, and various places to get drinks. Usually there's an impromptu band playing, lots of people in conversation, and an overall casual and relaxed atmosphere. In summer it can get a bit hot, and winter a bit cold, but drinks are refreshing and nothing can beat that skyline! FYI, at the end of the promenade near pier 2 is a public restroom, there's also one on the top deck of pier 3, and another one in the IFC shopping mall nearby.

The Beer Bay serves refreshing alcoholic drinks, such as cold drafts for a price that doesn't break the bank, approx. $45/pint. Not to mention a huge bottled beer selection starting around $20. Plenty of wine and mixers too. There's also Uncle Russ selling coffee and tea, and inside the pier building is a Circle-K selling about anything. You can even BYOB.
