#104 We're back together with Codeaholics! @ Beer Point (Thursday)

After a looooong hiatus I'm stoked to announce that we're having a meetup again in collaboration with Codeaholics!

A lot has changed, The Beer Bay is gone 😭 and replaced by Beer Point. 🍻 Yet the format remains unchanged; come for another casual gathering at Pier 3. Chat with peers in the software & technology community. Bring your smile and relax with a refreshing drink.

Concept 🍻
It works simple:

1. get yourself a drink at the bar
2. say hi to someone in the group
3. chat away.

Feel free to arrive and leave at any time during the event.

How to find us? 👀
Bart usually wears something that is easy to spot in a crowd. Often it's a bright orange coloured t-shirt. Have a look at past photos of meetups to recognise him. Moreover, we usually stand close to the bar.

Venue 📍
Beer Point is an outdoor kiosk/bar, situated at the walkway between the Central Ferry Piers, at the ground level entrance of Pier #3 (to Discovery Bay). There's plenty of space to stand, and various places to get drinks. Usually lots of people in conversation, and an overall casual and relaxed atmosphere. In summer it can get hot and sweaty, and winter a bit cold, but drinks are refreshing and nothing beats that skyline!

Top deck of pier 3, or you could walk to the IFC shopping mall nearby.

Drinks 🍺🍷🍹🥤
Beer Point serves refreshing alcoholic drinks, such as cold drafts, wine and plenty of mixers too. (Bring cash/Octopus) The Beer Bay still has a shop a short walk away in Pier 4, in case you fancy that.
