This group provides a simple way to end your week by watching a non-mainstream movie (OmU is mostly English) together with other cineasts every second Friday. You will be informed about the movie by each new event that pops up on TUESDAY, same week.
The Yorck cinema group is an association of several cinemas which are dispersed all over Berlin. They have a common program and also a very practical app (No. No money provided for me here)
After the screening it has become our tradition to gather at a bar nearby and discuss the movie, exchange opinions and talk about life in general. Or whatever.
We are already an open and welcoming community, therefore usually more people show up than registered. You can be one of them. It will be great 🧡

The musical biographical drama film written and directed by Mehdi Idir is about the life of French singer Charles Aznavour, portrayed by Tahar Rahim, from his beginning as the son of Armenian immigrants to the rise of his career as a singer and actor which cemented his status as a beloved figure in France.
