This is a group for people interested in learning or playing the card game of bridge. Bridge is played all over the world, and is gaining popularity, particularly among the young. It is an ideal way of meeting people, whether you aim to be an expert or just learn the rules and play socially. Let's see if we can get a group started.

Next weekend (Sat Sun May 3rd/4th) I am running an edition of my Learn Bridge in a Weekend which I have run for many years as a quick way of getting people started at bridge. Very hands on - cards in your hands at the outset - and a great way of getting the basics consolidated in one go.
The course is on Sat/Sun May 3rd/4th at TGRs Bridge Club, 19c Craven Road, Paddington, W2 3BP, deadly convenient for public transport, close to Paddington tube. 10.30am-5.30pm both days.
The normal fee is £135pp but as I have some vacancies I would like to fill I am offering two places for one! So, invite a friend for free, or come two up and share the cost. The fee includes all tuition and playing practice; a full set of back up notes and handouts; free tea/coffee/water throughout; and a hot buffet lunch with choices on both days.
