The Blockheads at Factory Live Worthing

Details

Join me as this always-amazing band come to Worthing! Despite losing Ian Dury a quarter of a century ago, their live gigs are just wonderful!! If you haven't seen them before, don't miss this. And if you've seen them lots of times (like me!), you'll want to see them again!
Book your ticket (£35.20) at :-
https://www.thefactorylive.co.uk/event/theblockheads-friday
and let me know if you want to drive and meet up there or travel by train with me.

Venue is very close to Worthing railway station, and it's in an industrial back street where there's plenty of free parking in the evenings. This is a standing ticket but not too bad as it's a very dancey gig - and there is some limited unreserved seating available if you get there early. Also, usually a couple of food trucks there at weekends and tables outside to eat before the gig - I'll check. All in all, it's a really nice gig place.

### "one of the most loved bands of the 70s perform their classic songs spanning over five decades

Starting out as the band behind Ian Dury, The Blockheads are a legendary outfit that has grown in stature from the early days of the Stiff tour in 1977, right up to the present day.
Backing up Ian Dury's poetic lyrics, this is the band that brought you 'Hit Me with your Rhythm Stick', 'What A Waste', 'Reasons to be Cheerful (Part 3)', and 'Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll', among many others.
Rarely off the road since the demise of Ian Dury in 2000, the Blockheads are still one of the most underrated British bands of all time, with a legion of fans of all ages."
