The Ropetackle runs a regular monthly storytelling group (for adults), and this one should be brilliant!
Quite a few of us went along to their various events last year, usually on the 2nd Monday of the month. They have a terrific variety of guest storytellers, and it's always great fun. It's usually held in the intimate mezzanine space, but occasionally moves to the main space downstairs if it sells out particularly fast.
This month's show gives us the Tales of Robin Hood - no doubt from a very different point of view to whatever TV series or film you were most addicted to when growing up, lol!
Tickets are just £10 - a great (and very reasonably priced!) way to spend a Monday night!

If you've never seen a professional storyteller weaving their magic, give it a try - you might get hooked, like me - it really is a unique experience!

Get your ticket at:-
https://ropetacklecentre.co.uk/events/ropetackle-storytellers-tales-of-robin-hood/
and NB I'll be collecting £2 Meetup fee (contactless) from all attendees, unless you want to pay an annual sub of £10.

"There's singing in the Greenwood, news of an archery competition, and someone keeps foiling the Sheriff of Nottingham's plans – it can only be Robin Hood! Ropetackle Storytellers gathers their own band of Merry Men to share some of Robin's best tales, through songs and stories. Hear how Robin first became an outlaw, how he met the likes of Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet and Little John, and exactly what happened in that infamous archery competition!
These tub-thumping tales of rebellion and raucous adventure are brought to you by Ace & Joshua, the Ropetackle Storytellers club founders, along with Heidi McNie (Sing a Song of Sussex), Marina Evans (To Shame the Devil), Jon Norman-Mason (You're Dead to Me, Beowulf), Sophie Gibson (The Wasteland Wanderer), Abbie Simmonds (Strange Times Storytelling) and Joanna Gilar (Storycommons CIC)."
