Shoreham Wordfest, 1st to 11th October, Shoreham's annual literary Festival held every October, and this year I've booked two main events over its final weekend. If you're interested though, there are loads more on the website - why not have a browse?

For the first time, I'm going to Wordfest's exciting all-day Sussex History Day, this year entitled "From Paganism to Plunder".
Its programme of events looks really interesting - it features, amongst many others, a talk by Dr Geoffrey Mead, whose guided walks many of us have enjoyed for years - and your £30 ticket includes an evening event, 7.30 to 9.30, "Sussex in Poetry and Song" (also available separately for £10 if you can't make the day event).
Book your ticket at:-

and do try to come - it should be a brilliant day!
PS I don't know yet what catering will be available at Ropetackle on the day, but if you're staying for the evening, I'll be arranging an evening meal somewhere nearby.
