This is a small and relaxed language exchange for people who want to practice English and Japanese
through conversation, not formal study 🌱
We host an English–Japanese Language Exchange in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
🌍 About this event
While staying in Toronto, Canada, we regularly joined local language exchange meetups.
By talking with locals, we not only improved our English, but also realized how important it is to have
a safe and comfortable place to practice speaking.
After returning to Japan, we wanted to create the same kind of beginner-friendly space in Tokyo —
and that’s how this event started 🇨🇦💭
🗣️ How it works
• English × Japanese language exchange
• Time is split evenly (about 30 minutes each)
• Small group setting (solo participants are welcome! , maximum 10 participants)
• Seat rotation so you can talk with different people
• A friendly atmosphere where mistakes are totally OK
Since it’s a bit later in the evening, feel free to bring your own dinner and eat while you participate!
