New York City Sunlight Sketches and Friendly Faces
Details
I am organizing a casual afternoon of sketching in the park for anyone interested in capturing the city light and connecting with fellow local artists. We will be meeting up to spend a few hours observing the way the sun hits the trees and buildings, sketching at our own pace, and enjoying the outdoors. This is a very relaxed, low-pressure environment meant for anyone who enjoys drawing, regardless of whether you consider yourself a professional or someone who just picked up a pencil for the first time today.
The goal is simply to get outside, enjoy the afternoon, and meet some new people who share a creative interest. We will find a comfortable spot, spread out, and share our work if we feel like it, or just enjoy the company while we draw. Please bring whatever supplies you are comfortable using, a folding chair or blanket if you would like, and a bit of patience for the shifting sun. If you have been looking for a reason to head to the park and want to meet a few friendly faces, I would love to see you there.
Please let me know if you can make it by clicking the button to RSVP so I have an idea of how many people to look out for.
