All-Skills Pool and Leamington Social
Details
All pool-playing skill-levels (beginners, intermediate, experts, etc) are welcome to nab one of the highly sought after spots for this special Saturday activity-event starting at the very impressive 'Frames' on the Parade in Leamington where we take turns playing 9-ball pool, and partake in a bit of socialising between games with a drink or two.
As usual, we'll have some pool tables booked from 7.30, and then after an hour or two we'll move to the House Bar (also on the Parade) and continue the happy-crowd vibe.
We did this in January for the first time and it was a blast, and each month since its got bigger and better, so its only natural to want to keep going back for more!
It's absolutely fine to come alone as thats what most people do. You'll be made to feel very welcome and this being a fun activity event - you're sure to go away having enjoyed the experience and feeling glad you came.
Cost to join is a £5-per-head contribution towards the pool-table hire. The waiting list gets quite long on this event and it can be a frustrating place to be. So if you want to come, dont hesitate - get your name down early.
Note: Due to the high demand for the 20 spots on this event - any guests you want to bring must log in and add themselves on to the event as individuals.
For those who haven't been to Frames before, you should know the following:
- Cue's (straight ones!) are provided, all of which are superb quality.
- The tables are in amazing condition, and so much fun to play on compared to your average tatty pool table in a pub.
- The tables aren't coin operated, meaning all balls fall straight back out when they are potted.
- The bar has a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Note: Dont drink and drive, kids!
- They have a giant telly, and a jukebox which has an excellent selection of your favourite tunes to choose from!
- The staff are very cool, and are understandably very caring of the equipment. They might politely ask you to be careful, even if (like I did) you unintentionally hold a drink over a table.
If you've read this far.. the natural next step is to click that magical 'Attend' button, and then you can sit back and relax and look forward to it. 🙂
