FFW: Leamington Picnic in the Park

Following the amazing Summer Solstice picnic vibes on Sunday (and the fantastic photos that captured the occasion since seen by all) there has been a lot of feedback.
Feedback from the attendees saying how much they enjoyed it, and also from people who couldn’t make it - saying how gutted they were to miss it.

Fortunately, the current weather warnings end on Friday this week, and the forecast for Saturday shows the more normal summer temperatures that we would expect in this country - a few more clouds in the sky, and a nice welcomed breeze. This therefore gives us a perfect opportunity for another outdoorsy picnic, this time without the optional hike.

So at 4pm on Saturday afternoon, we will descend upon a nice grassy spot in Jeffson Gardens in Leamington for a social Friendly Faces 'supper-style' picnic.
Bring whatever snacks / food as you would for such an occasion, and of course your choice of drinks.
There will be BIG bonus points for anyone bringing their own homemade foods to share. (as some did last week)
And a picnic wouldn't be a picnic without a folding chair / mat / rug to sit on.

Also, if you have any games (e.g. a frisbee / badminton rackets / etc) bring them, and we'll have some fun with those too.
The intended spot is right next to some trees, so anyone preferring to sit in the shade can do.

Those who missed last week, whether you're a first-timer or a regular - this is your chance to experience the Friendly Faces picnic vibe. 😎
You don't have to imagine it now... as you breathe deep lungfuls of fresh summer air, the sound of the trees swaying gently with distant birds singing, and a bunch of super social friendly faces for company.

p.s. We'll hang out until the early evening, and be finished well before the all-important England game (which starts after it gets dark anyway) at 10pm.
