FFW: Summer Picnic #3 - Jephson Gardens in Leamington

It seems that new and regular Friendly Faces group members are now excelling at a new event-type in this summer season... Picnics!

Following the amazing Summer Solstice picnic, and then the fantastic June 'bake-off' picnic in Leamington's Jephson Gardens a week later (actual photo above) the positive comments about how much fun was had at those two events still continue to roll in.

So with this current 30/35 degrees heatwave tailing off just as the weekend starts (falling to a sumptuous 26-degrees with a light breeze on Sunday) it provides the perfect opportunity for a third outing - returning to the same spacious secluded spot in Jephson Gardens as last time.
For those who didn't attend the last one - you missed a corker..
People brought an outstanding selection of homemade / store-bought treats snacks, savouries and cakes to share around.
Together with the selection of sporty stuff like frisbees, badminton rackets and a football - passers-by were looking on at us as though we do this professionally. 🙂

So at 4pm on Sunday afternoon (just as the shops close) we will descend upon that nice grassy spot in Jeffson Gardens (with some big trees there for shade) for a repeat performance of our super social Friendly Faces 'supper-style' picnic.

Bring whatever snacks / food as you would for such an occasion, and of course your own choice of drinks to wash everything down.
Again there will be BIG bonus points for anyone bringing their own homemade foods to share.
And a picnic wouldn't be a picnic without a folding chair / mat / rug to sit on.

Also again - if you have any games (e.g. a frisbee / badminton rackets / etc) bring them, and we'll have some fun with those too.
The intended spot is right next to some trees, so anyone preferring to sit in the shade can do.

Imagine it now... as you breathe deep lungfuls of fresh summer air, with only the sound of the trees swaying gently with distant birds singing, and a bunch of super social friendly faces for company.
