FFW: Burton Dassett (Option 1 of 2) Bank Holiday Monday Picnic & Sunset

First-timers and regulars - quickly add your name to the attendees list for this special picnic event as we sit on the grass at one of the finest view-points around for the evening, to take in the incredible sunset view and repeat the format of the Summer Solstice event that took place back in June - which received an incredible amount of positive feedback from those present.
Hosted by Joanna, starting at 5.30pm we'll spread out the picnic blankets on the grass and bring snacks / cake / drinks, and have a relaxed chat as we wait for the sunset, which will occur at at approximately 7.40pm.
Then, with the cars just 5 minutes walk away, we'll drive off safely before it gets dark.
IMPORTANT NOTE : This event is Option 1, for which there is no hike associated. It is a static social-gathering only, and we will not move from the amazing views on the Burton Dassett hill-top for the full duration of the advertised times.

If you are a driver, you will certainly attain hero/heroine status if you write a message here on the event page offering your services - stating your location and specific locations that you can collect passengers from.
If you are not a driver and would like a lift, leave a message here on the event page (as soon as you sign up) asking if anyone is kind enough to offer. Leaving that question until the day before the event is probably too late. Don't forget to offer a few pounds to your driver as petrol prices are high at the moment.

2. Dogs ARE NOT allowed 🐶❌ to attend this event.
3. If you wish to take part in the earlier Burton Dassett advanced-level hiking event also scheduled which will finish at the same hill-top at around 6.30pm, please sign up to that event (Option 2) instead and not this one.

4. 'First-timer' attendees are always welcome to come along and check out who we are and how we do things. After that if you wish to return for another one, becoming an official subscribing group-member is necessary, so provided you are (strictly) within the permitted group age range of 25 to 55 qualifying you to join - read the joining details here...
