This scheduled event is the perfect solution to get out of the house, meet more people and expand your social circle. If you didn't know, Warwick is a goldmine of easy-going laid-back bars for us to hang out in as a group and have a chat, so lets take full advantage of this opportunity.

So hit the attend button now on this mixed casual group-tour around the town centre on a relaxed Friday evening, and we'll descend together upon selected popular bars one at a time, staying long enough for a mingle and drink (alcohol optional) before we all move on to the next one.

If you've attended before and are simply coming back for more then great! First-timers are encouraged to get involved and make this your first visit. There are always other first-timers so you wont be alone in that regard. What have you got to lose by popping along for a look? Nothing! That's what ๐Ÿ™‚

You'll be welcomed...
I feel very proud that members of the Friendly Faces group are known for being so warm and welcoming to each other (and the expectations of first-timers are often exceeded) so good times and happy vibes naturally flow at Friendly Faces events.

What to expect...
Before adding your name to the attendees list please read on and make yourself aware of what this event is and what it is not.
Also be aware of the 5 Friendly Faces Group rules (also below) which apply not just at this event, but at every one we have.

If we haven't met you before - we are all looking forward to meeting you.
If we have met you before - then we are looking forward to seeing you again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Friendly Faces social events in nearby towns such as Warwick, Leamington, Stratford, etc. are all different by virtue of their varied atmospheres and the venues they each contain.
The following text is included here to set the expectations of those attending this Warwick-based event and to prevent anyone from coming along to it who might be expecting something else.

What this event is...

1= This event is for positive, independent, able-bodied men and women in their 30's and 40's. The outer age-range limit is 25 to 55.

2= This event is for meeting local, like-minded people, providing opportunities to build new connections and friendships.

3= This event expects and encourages you to attend alone. It is not compulsory, but it is what 99.9% of attendees do.
Bringing a known friend will likely mean you stay with them, and therefore waste the opportunity to meet and chat with new people that this event brings.

4= This event is for a few end-of-the-week social drinks in good company before the weekend begins.

5= This event targets quiet venues that facilitate mingling and conversation at a normal speaking volume. (i.e. not having to shout to be heard)

6= This event welcomes people who need to drive to get to Warwick and (like me) choose to stick to drinking lemonade / water, etc.

7= This event starts at 7.30pm and attendees are kindly asked to make an effort to arrive on time so as not to be disrespectful to others.

8= This event will provide notifications (here on the app) each time we change venue to ensure that any attendees that become separated can find us again. These notifications are not for the benefit of latecomers, because latecomers are not expected. (see point 7)

9= This event and all of its attendees accept that you might leave earlier than the scheduled end-time. (if you are tired, have to get up early the next morning, etc)

What this event is not...

1= This is not a traditional pub crawl (even though venue-changes will occur every hour or so) and therefore alcohol is entirely optional. Many attendees will drive and not touch a drop - including the organiser.

2= This event is not for people likely to get heavily drunk. (whether intentionally or accidentally)

3= This event will not include (or seek out) loud venues or with live music / dancing.

4= This socialising / mingling event is scheduled to end at midnight. Warwick is not a party town, making it the perfect location. If you are seeking a wild night out then this is not the event for you.

5= This event is not a dating/singles event. Meeting a significant other may happen naturally but it should not be your expectation or reason for attending.

6= This event is not a place for men to practice chatting up / picking up women.

7= Attendees who do not arrive before the first venue change at this event will be tagged on the app as a 'No-Show'.

8= This event will not make introductions for you. By attending this event it is assumed that you will be pro-active and make the effort to say hi to others. Remember that we are all in the same boat in looking to meet new people.

The 5 Friendly Faces Group rules...
By attending any of our events, you agree to abide by the following rules:

1= Anyone engaging in persistent or un-welcomed attention towards others (either at an event or afterwards) may be removed from the group.

2= Having respect for others is non-negotiable. Anyone who is disrespectful to others (whether this is directed at members of the group or outsiders) may be removed from the group.

3= Drinking alcohol is normal (and optional) at these events, however our primary focus is on socialising, not on drinking to excess. Anyone being or becoming excessively drunk (or exhibiting drunken behaviour) may be removed from the group.

4= We are all Friendly Faces group ambassadors at the places we visit. Anyone misusing/abusing a venue/location (or the staff or property within it) may be removed from the group.

5= Our encouragement of others to attend more Friendly Faces events benefits us all. You are welcome to leave an event midway at any time that you wish / need to, however anyone encouraging others to break away from an event, harvesting / sharing phone numbers, or promoting products / events / other social groups may be removed from the group.

Finally...
Your first Friendly Faces event is free.
'First-timer' attendees are always welcome to come along and check out who we are and how we do things. After that if you wish to return for another one, becoming an official subscribing group-member is necessary, so provided you are (strictly) within the permitted group age range of 25 to 55, read the details here...
